PSMK Group PTY LTD ATF Armadale Nineteen Trust (ABN 91 514 040 646), trading as Cadence Software ("we", "us", "our"), operates the Staddle mobile application ("the App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in connection with your use of the App.

We are committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

1. About the App

Staddle is a mobile companion application that connects users to their organisation's Staddle environment. The App is made available to employees and users of organisations that hold an active Staddle account with Cadence Software.

2. Information We Collect

Information You Provide

  • Organisation Code — When you first launch the App, you enter an organisation code to connect to your organisation's Staddle environment. If you choose "Remember this organisation," this code is stored locally on your device.
  • Files and Photos — If your organisation's Staddle environment includes functionality to upload files, photos, or documents (such as receipt scanning), those files are transmitted directly to your organisation's Staddle environment. We do not store copies of uploaded files on our own servers.

Information Collected Automatically

  • The App does not use advertising identifiers, third-party analytics SDKs, or behavioural tracking tools.
  • The App does not collect your location.

Device Permissions

The App may request the following device permissions, which are used solely to support functionality within the App:

Camera Capturing photos for file uploads (e.g. scanning receipts)
Photo Library Selecting images from your device for upload
Microphone Recording video with audio when using the camera

You can manage these permissions at any time through your device's settings. Denying a permission will prevent the related feature from working but will not affect other App functionality.

3. How We Use Information

The organisation code stored on your device is used solely to reconnect you to your organisation's Staddle environment on future visits. It is not transmitted to us or any third party.

We do not use any information collected through the App for marketing, advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than providing the App's core functionality.

4. Your Organisation's Responsibility

Staddle is a platform provided to organisations (our customers). When you use the App as an employee or representative of an organisation, the data you submit through the App — such as forms, uploads, and requests — is processed within your organisation's Staddle environment. Your organisation is the data controller for that information and their own privacy policy applies to how that data is handled.

5. Disclosure of Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

We may disclose information where required by law, regulation, or a court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Cadence Software, our customers, or others.

6. Data Storage and Security

The only data stored by the App on your device is your organisation code (if you choose to save it). This is stored in your device's local application preferences and is not transmitted to Cadence Software.

We take reasonable steps to protect information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access in accordance with APP 11.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for use by adults in a workplace context. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 15. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us and we will take steps to remove it.

8. Access and Correction

Under the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to request access to personal information we hold about you, and to request correction of that information if it is inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date.

9. Complaints

If you believe we have not handled your personal information in accordance with this policy or the Australian Privacy Principles, you may contact us in the first instance. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
